BALKAN ALIEN SOUND
Balkan Alien Sound are a seven piece group from Derry that specialise in the folk and gypsy music of Eastern Europe and the Balkan regions.
Upbeat rhythms of Balkan, Klezmer and Gypsy music, and odd time signatures are a key part of the bands sound providing fast and furious melodies demanding to be danced to as well as tackling more delicate folk songs sang in regional variations.
